Thai restaurants can be found all over Amsterdam. Here are a selection of the best.

This restaurant, located in the Nieuwemarkt area, is popular amongst locals. The interior is decorated with many photos and objects and the waiters are dressed in traditional clothing.
It's not all cosmetic though - the food is very popular, as is the service. There are a number of dishes available, and set menus are just under 30 Euros per person.
It is advisable to reserve in advance as this place gets busy.

Saow Thai

Located on the edge of the Red Light District, Saow Thai is half bar-half restaurant. The food is good, but pay attention to the "hot" ratings, you can have a dish hotter or colder than normal - just make it clear to the waiter.
Look out for the lady boys in the bar!

This small rsetaurant near the Nieuwmarkt area gets busy, especially during the later hours of the night.
Although the food is cooked by authentic Thai chefs, the prices are very reasonable.
As well as indoor seating, Song Kwae also features an outdoor terrace.

Bird Snackbar & Thai Restaurant

Bird is both a snackbar and a restaurant.
The snackbar is takeaway with exception of a few small tables. The advantage is that you will be served very quickly.
If you prefer a more leisurely place and a longer meal, head over to the 100 seat restaurant that features a view overlooking the canal.

This restaurant near the Leidseplein area specialises in seafood dishes.
Despite highly rated food and service, the prices are very reasonable.
