Theater De Engelenbak

This theatre's name comes from the nature of the seating arrangement - seated so high, it is said that you can "touch the angels", figuratively at least!

Subsidised by the local government and open since 1975, Theater De Engelenbak features a famous open mike night on Tuesdays, which has seen the birth of many a famous Dutch acting career.
